Can’t seem to hang with the groups I think I used to before. Perhaps am going off too hard, and missed a few weeks. Not sure. Get gassed and fade. Great to see CCA names pop up. Well done all!

I’ve had a dip in fitness as not ridden as much due to work, which is annoying. The weigh penalty on Zwift seems very harsh. That course was flat, and MC put out way more Watts. Thanks to those that administer the scores etc!

58:05 for me. Monthly sound good. Thanks for organising!
-
I’ll try and attend this. Sounds fun! Though won’t have voice set up. E Nelson - CCA

Was tough. Climbs broke up groups, so less sitting in wheels and recovery. Had a sneaky Google beforehand, which helped: https://zwiftinsider.com/innsbruckring/

That’s odd. In some kind of twilight zone! My HRM was giving funny readings. I’ll need to take a look at it. I hope I don’t get booted from ZP
-
Not sure why I was not pulled through onto ZP, as I was last week with same set up and account. My only observation is that on Zwift app my HR for the race looked a bit blocky, like not reading as accurately as normal - so maybe that’s why? Not sure

Thanks for posting/to those that compiled! I found it super hard to gauge gradient and get gearing right. Any tips much appreciated. I ended up staring at the % incline figure and if it ticked beyond +\- 1% I’d change gear. A few times I spun …

I had a go in C category. I’ve “- CCA” after my name, and hope I sorted ZP ok

I’ll be there 🐣

Great. My preference would be to be a flag Marshall, if that still works. I’ll also see if I can bake some things.
-
I can help. Sorry, I didn’t realise I was free. Happy to try and bake a cake if that’s where the need is
-
That was fun! Thanks for the encouragement and support, both on the day and on Wednesday nights. A fairly long list of things to work on. I felt like I started in my comfort zone, played it cool for a lap or so, then chased down a few riders i…

After only ever having a road bike, I bought a CX bike on eBay recently. Great to read these write ups!

I know not summer kit, but what do folks race cyclocross in?
-
Happy to marshall/ stand on a traffic island etc
-
Oo, I'll take the cap and gilet if still available. My preference would be to drive over when suits both

Thanks for the ride. Keen to come to chain gangs to get a work out, work on my group riding at pace skills and learn from others. So tried to keep it smooth, communicate well and work as a unit. I was aware that that there would invariably be a…

Hello, I'm happy to Marshall. I've signed up to the poll and will come to the meeting at 8:15 for instructions. Weather looks decent. Thanks, Ed Nelson

Once Zwift is on iOS/iPad I'll likely be using it a fair bit, so will be up for this kind of thing in the future. Eta on iOS in the next few weeks apparently. Woot

Perhaps a good time and place to ask. What do you guys do in terms of winter training? This summer I did a few chain gangs, a road race, Tour of Cambs but was a bit off the pace to be honest. So this winter I thought I'd get a bit more structured wi…

Great write up. Well done!

I was signed up for London CC 3/4 road race tomorrow, but it's just been cancelled due to fresh gravel on the course. There is an email via BC. Darn.
-
I'm the one other that was at Sawtry this morning in the 3/4. My first jaunt into racing, enjoyed it loads but suffered a fair bit. Yo-yo'd off the back for a while then popped unfortunately. Some things to work on, but I'll be back

Sorry, held up at work so can't make it this week. Enjoy. (Ed in specks)
-
Great fun. Thanks for looking out for me. Ed (Newish chap in glasses)
-
Hi Luke. I'm interested in the Gilet Thanks Ed
-
I've one in 54 https://imgur.com/a/6VHVa EdwardWNelson@Gmail.com Edit. She can certainly try it for size, but it's my main bike so can't sell

Signed up to help marshal. :)

Hey folks,
I'm fairly new to the area, and looking to get out with a group - so will pop along if that's ok.
Thanks
Ed
